The Government of Uttar Pradesh has announced a massive recruitment drive for Anganwadi workers, Anganwadi helpers, and Anganwadi supervisors under the Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) Scheme. The recruitment process is being conducted to fill over 53,000 vacancies across the state.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the UP Anganwadi Recruitment 2023, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Age Limit:

  • Anganwadi Worker and Mini Anganwadi Worker: 18-44 years
  • Anganwadi Helper: 18-35 years
  • Anganwadi Supervisor: 21-40 years

• Educational Qualification:

  • Anganwadi Worker and Mini Anganwadi Worker: Passed 10th or equivalent from a recognized institute
  • Anganwadi Helper: Passed 8th or equivalent from a recognized institute
  • Anganwadi Supervisor: Bachelor’s Degree in any stream with 10 years of experience or Diploma/ Certificate in Computer Science or 12th class with computer as a subject

• Domicile: Must be a resident of Uttar Pradesh

• Physical Fitness: Candidates should be physically fit to perform the duties of the post they are applying for

Selection Process

The selection process for the UP Anganwadi Recruitment 2023 will consist of a written test and an interview.

• Written Test: The written test will be of 90 minutes duration and will consist of 100 questions. The test will cover topics such as General English, Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, General Knowledge, and Child Development.
• Interview: The interview will be conducted for the shortlisted candidates. The interview will assess the candidate’s communication skills, personality, and overall suitability for the post.
