Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL), Durgapur Steel Plant, is seeking applications from eligible candidates for the post of Proficiency Training of Nurse. A total of 57 posts are available. SAIL Durgapur Nurse Jobs Notification 2023 – Overview

Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must be citizens of India.
• Candidates must have completed their GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery) course from a recognized institution.
• Candidates must be registered with the Indian Nursing Council (INC).
• Candidates must have a minimum of two years of experience as a Staff Nurse in a recognized hospital.

Education Qualification

• GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery) course from a recognized institution.

Salary

• During Proficiency Training: Rs. 10,000 per month
• After Successful Completion of Training and Appointment as Staff Nurse: Rs. 30,500-44,500 (Pay Scale Level-8)

Application Fees

• General/OBC: Rs. 350/-
• SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen: Nil

Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 21 years
• Maximum Age: 30 years

Selection Process

The selection process will consist of a written test and an interview.

• Written Test: The written test will be an objective type test consisting of 100 questions from the following subjects:

  • General Nursing and Midwifery
  • Anatomy and Physiology
  • Pharmacology
  • Surgical Nursing
  • Medical Nursing

• Interview: The interview will carry 200 marks and will assess the candidate’s general knowledge, communication skills, and aptitude for nursing.
