The Hon’ble Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh introduced the “Pedalandariki Illu” housing program of the Revenue Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh. The program declares 25 lakh House Site Pattas for distribution to all qualified beneficiaries residing in rural and urban areas, regardless of Caste, Creed, or Religion, to aid in building homes for the impoverished and homeless. The distribution of House Site Pattas to all qualified houseless poor will be handled in mission mode.. The “YSR Housing Scheme” and “YSR Awaas Yojana” are additional names for this programme.
Benefits Of Pedalandariki Illu Yojana:
Rural Area:
- To an eligible household in the name of the lady beneficiary of the house, one House Site Patta with a value of 1.5 Cents will be awarded. On the day of Ugadi in 2020, the patta must be given to the beneficiary.
- To the qualifying beneficiary under the various programmes, the Housing Department shall gradually grant sanctions for the construction of Individual Housing Units.
Urban Area:
- At a rate of around 100 units per Ac.1.00cts, housing units will be built in the G+3 pattern.
- To an eligible beneficiary in the name of the woman of the house, the House Site Patta will be issued as an Undivided Land Share for an area of approximately 1.0 Cent. On Ugadi Day in 2020, the patta will be given to the beneficiary.
- APTIDCO, ULB, and other government organisations under available plans will construct housing units and deliver them to the recipients.
NOTE 1: When issuing House Site Pattas, it is mandatory to adhere to the terms of BSO-21 and the Andhra Pradesh Assigned Lands (Prohibition of Transfer) Act, 1977 (as amended from time to time).
NOTE 2: Each individual plot will be assigned an 11-digit Unique Number, similar to the Bhoodhar Number.
Eligibility
A) Rural Area:
1. The beneficiary must reside in a household that falls under the BPL classification.
2. The recipient is not allowed to possess a home or a building site anywhere in the state of Andhra Pradesh.
3. The Beneficiary must not have been included in any prior State or Federal Housing Programme.
4. The Beneficiary is only permitted to own a maximum of 5.00 acres of dry land and 2.5 acres of wetland.
B) Urban Area:
1. Nowhere in the State of Andhra Pradesh shall the beneficiary own a house or a building site.
2. The beneficiary must not have previously been covered by a State or Federal Housing Programme.
3. The recipient may not own more than 5.00 acres of dry land or 2.5 acres of wetland.
4. The household’s combined annual income should not be more than Rs. 3,00,000 (three lakhs only).
Application Process

Offline:
1: Applications will be accepted at the ward or village level, respectively, taking into account the village or town as a whole.
2: The Village/Ward Volunteers will review all applications to ensure they meet the requirements for qualifying.
3: The Village/Ward Secretariat will publish a draught list of the identified qualified recipients and invite additional claims and objections.
4: A Grama/Ward Sabha will be held to finalise the beneficiaries’ list after properly resolving any claims and objections.
5: In the rural and urban regions, respectively, the Tahsildars and Municipal Commissioners must submit the final list of beneficiaries for the District Collector’s approval.
6: The District Collector-approved final beneficiary list is published at the appropriate Village/Ward Secretariat.
7: The Tahsildar/Municipal Commissioner will serve as the proper redressal officer after receiving approval from the District Collector in the event of any additional claims or objections.
