The Andhra Pradesh Women and Child Welfare Department is expected to release a notification soon for the recruitment of Anganwadi workers and helpers in 2023. The recruitment drive is being conducted to fill a total of 5,905 vacancies in various districts across the state.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for AP Anganwadi Recruitment 2023, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Age Limit: 18-35 years
• Educational Qualification: 10th pass or equivalent
• Experience: As per the specific post requirements
• Physical Fitness: Candidates should be physically fit to perform the duties of the post they are applying for

Selection Process

The selection process for AP Anganwadi Recruitment 2023 is expected to consist of a written test and an interview.

• Written Test: The written test will be of 90 minutes duration and will consist of 100 questions. The test will cover topics such as General English, Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, General Knowledge, and Child Development.
• Interview: The interview will be conducted for the shortlisted candidates. The interview will assess the candidate’s communication skills, personality, and overall suitability for the post.

Salary

The selected candidates will be placed in Scale-I of the Officers’ Pay Scale. The initial basic salary for this scale is ₹ 23,700/- per month. The salary will also include other allowances as per the rules of the WCD.
